The Boathouse!



Without a doubt our favourite area of Westcombe!


In contrast to the main house, we have opted for a more traditional theme with the Boathouse, reflecting its long history and deep connection to our family.At one end, there is a bar area with the worktop coming from the bar in the firestation that our father worked at!

At the other end, there is a lounge area with chesterfield sofas that adds a sophisticated touch. To recognise the Boathouse and our family’s history, we have repurposed our ancestor’s workbench as a coffee table, their trunks as side tables and tools as ornaments.

Out on the terrace, there are further dining and bar areas for guests to relax and enjoy the tranquil views up Batson Creek towards Salcombe harbour and beyond!
