Building Update 11
Despite the bad weather recently, there has been good progress on site.
On the main house, the beautiful stone cladding has been fitted on the external walls and the stairs to the south terrace completed. The bore holes for the ground source heat pumps are being drilled next week, with the block and beam for the 2nd floor arriving the week after.
Internally in the boathouse, the first fix electrics have been completed and the staircase installed. On the terrace, the doors have been fitted which will be painted shortly. The yellow cedar cladding and balustrade has been installed which will weather to grey over time. In addition, the roof has been completed allowing for the scaffold and covering to be removed next week!
